Two men have been charged following a shooting last month that wounded a 35-year-old woman in the parking lot of a Wendy’s restaurant in Union County.

Jevan Carrie, 19, and Jeyrin Munoz, 18, both of Linden, were arrested separately on Oct. 4, authorities said.

Munoz was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, two second-degree weapons offenses, and fourth-degree aggravated assault with a firearm, court records show.

Carrie was charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, according to court records.

Carrie and Munoz were taken to the Essex County Jail, where they remained on Thursday pending a court hearing.
