This is TVNewser’s basic cable network ranker and cable news report for the week of October 13, 2025.

Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN all grew with total viewers during primetime and total day for the just-concluded week.

However, in the advertiser-coveted demo, CNN was the only big three cable news network to record week-to-week gains, with MSNBC being the only network to lose viewers in both dayparts.

Meanwhile, Fox News had 98 of the top 100 weekly cable news telecasts for the week.

According to Nielsen big data + panel for the week of October 13, Fox News averaged 2.333 million total viewers and 229,000 Adults 25-54 viewers during primetime. The network was up +2% in total viewers and +4% in the demo compared to the week prior ( the week beginning October 6 ).
