Bayern Munich avoid Man City threat with Vincent Kompany's early extension
Earlier this week, Bayern Munich announced that their head coach, Vincent Kompany, has signed a two-year contract extension, which will keep him at the German club until June 2029.
Kompany was appointed by Bayern in May last year following his two-year managerial stint at Burnley , and his initial contract with the Bavarians was set to expire in the summer of 2027.
After signing the contract extension, the former Manchester City captain shared his thoughts, expressing his gratitude to the Bundesliga giants, and said,
"I'm grateful, honoured and would like to thank Bayern for the trust and the working environment they've given me from day one. It feels like I've been here a lot longer
