Car crashes into school bus with children on board in Monroe. What we know

Twelve children on board a school bus were not injured when a car hit their bus Oct. 23 in the Town of Monroe.

State police said the crash happened at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Route 208.

State police said a preliminary investigation determined a yellow 2023 Chevrolet school bus was traveling south on Route 208 when it attempted to make a left-hand turn onto the Route 17 on-ramp at the highway's exit 130.
