GIG HARBOR, Wash. — What started as reports of juveniles throwing eggs at vehicles Wednesday evening ended with a crashed car in a backyard chicken coop.
The Gig Harbor Police Department received the first call around 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 22, from the Peacock Hill and North Harborview Drive area. Concerned citizens reported a group of juveniles in a gray or black sedan throwing eggs at moving vehicles.
Over the next several hours, additional reports flooded in describing the same group targeting vehicles throughout the area. Officers conducted continuous searches but were initially unable to locate the suspects or their vehicle.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Harborview Drive for a vandalism report. The victim reported that a passing dark-colored seda
