Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners are showing that the spirit of sportsmanship extends beyond the field.
As of Thursday afternoon, more than 150 Jays supporters donated money to Seattle Children’s Hospital, spokesperson Sabrina Register told the Star.
“Seattle Children’s (Hospital) provides hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible,” Register said in a statement. “Every donation to Children’s fuels our mission and is truly appreciated. Children’s is grateful to Blue Jays fans for their generosity. Moments like this highlight that we can all cheer for kids.” Baseball
