Ganderbal, Oct 23: Residents of Gund block in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district are facing growing difficulties as the Block Development Office (BDO) remains without an officer, leaving official work in limbo.

Sources said the previous BDO was transferred almost two weeks ago, but no replacement has been posted so far. Locals said the absence of a BDO has caused immense inconvenience, with pending files and approvals piling up in the office.

Ghulam Rasool, a resident of the area, said, “The government transferred the BDO recently, but we have no information on whether an official has been given additional charge.
