The New England Patriots offense is off to a fantastic start this season. Quarterback Drake Maye and veteran receiver Stefon Diggs are significant contributors to the offense’s success.
The 31-year-old receiver has 33 receptions for 456 yards over seven games this season. Diggs succeeds largely because he shows his hands late, a strategy offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels saw from another great receiver.
“Randy (Moss) was spectacular at it, McDaniels said on Thursday, via Patriots on CLNS. “Probably the best I’ve ever seen. These guys are really skilled.”
