LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An arrest was made in Las Vegas Thursday morning in connection with the FBI investigation of illegal gambling involving current and former NBA coaches and players, according to the head of the FBI's Las Vegas Division.

Special Agent in Charge Christopher S. Delzotto did not identify the person who was arrested, but said his office assisted in the investigation. Federal authorities said the investigation spanned years, and arrests today came in 11 states.

The two biggest names among the 31 arrests were current Portland Trailblazers coach and NBA Hall of Famer Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier. Former Cleveland Cavalier and Miami Heat guard Damon Jones was also among the arrests.

Media reports on Thursday indicated Jones was arrested in Las Vegas.
