LAKE BUTLER, Fla. (WCJB) — Bread of the Mighty, a branch of Feeding North East Florida, hosted a food distribution event Thursday at Promised Land Family Ministries in Lake Butler.

The organizations involved aimed to serve 150 to 200 households with fresh produce, beef, and shelf-stable goods.

Volunteers created a drive-thru center, as well as walk-up accommodations, to serve those collecting food on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies lasted.
