NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a man who was wanted on multiple charges from upstate South Carolina law enforcement agencies.
Derrick Lamont Niles, 30, of North Charleston, is charged with entering premises after warning and indecent exposure, according to jail records.
Officers responded to the 2100 block of Ashley Phosphate Road around 7 a.m. after a victim reported a man who was placed on a trespass notice back in Nov. 2024. The victim told officers that he had to lock his shop door to keep Niles from entering and called the police.
When officers arrived and exited the shop, they located him, who fled on foot. They finally located and arrested Niles around 4 p.m. in the 7500 block of Northwoods Boulevard after several hours of sear
