TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Chilly mornings, nice afternoons continue to end your workweek.

This evening, you may see a sundog or halo near the sun as it nears the horizon. With mid and upper-level clouds made of ice crystals, the sun’s rays bend or refract, leading to the appearance of these weather phenomena. The halo appears as a ring around the sun. The sundog appears like another sun adjacent to the sun along the halo. Please send us photos if you spot them this evening.

If you thought this morning was chilly, tomorrow will be too. Temperatures are expected to dip into the 40s again tonight.

Friday’s afternoon highs will reach the low 80s with mostly sunny conditions.

Saturday will be dry and warm too, with highs in the low 80s and mostly sunny skies.
