BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Unity in Strings, formerly the Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra, is launching a new adult orchestra.

The adult orchestra will join their existing parent-child and family orchestras.

No prior musical experience is required for the parent and child string orchestra or the adult orchestra.

For anyone interested in joining the orchestras, there will be two open house events:

Parent-Child Program & Adult Orchestra

Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Heritage Room – First Methodist Church, Bryan

Family Orchestra

Sunday, Oct. 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall – First Methodist Church, Bryan
