BASTROP, Texas — A juvenile has been arrested after allegedly calling in a fake bomb threat to a church in Bastrop.
According to the Bastrop Police Department, police responded to a call just before 9 a.m. Thursday reporting a bomb threat that had been made toward an unspecified church.
Several police responded to the scene and discovered that the nature of the threat stemmed from a voicemail left by the juvenile suspect.
Police subsequently arrested the juvenile suspect. The suspect's identity will not be revealed as they are not 18, and it is unclear what charges they currently face.
Police said that there was no danger to anyone or any building in town during the incident.
