Three years after Stellan Skarsgard suffered a significant stroke, he opened up about how the medical emergency has created challenges in his acting career.

“I found a way,” Skarsgard told Vulture about how he remembers his lines in an interview published on Wednesday.

While reflecting on filming the 2024 movie Dune: Part Two , he said, “They have earpieces where you have a prompter that says the line. It’s not enough because I have my rhythm. They have to say their line on top of my line for me to be able to answer it. They have to say it very fast, very neutral. It takes a lot of training for that guy.”
