PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Portland Mayor Keith Wilson is continuing to speak out on the events surrounding the Portland ICE facility -- this time, decrying that local journalists have not been allowed inside the facility by federal officials, despite repeated requests.

The mayor recently shared his thoughts on the federal government's tactics in an editorial in Newsweek titled “Portland Mayor: ICE Facility Is a Disaster Waiting To Happen." In the piece, he detailed his time visiting the building in South Portland when summoned to meet with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and President Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski in early October.
