Northern Kentucky woman in need of living kidney donor
(ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — More than 104,000 Americans, including over 1,000 Kentuckians are awaiting a life-saving organ, according to Donate Life. The largest group waiting for an organ donation consists of those in need of a kidney transplant. One of them, Northern Kentucky woman, Deneal Dannelly, who spends the equivalent of a full-time plus a part-time job on dialysis each week. “Going through this, is the most heartbreaking, eye-opening experience,” says 29-year-old Deneal Dannelly, who has had to put a lot of things on pause, like starting a family, or having a normal social life.
