"There were so many questions that needed to be answered, and there was a huge fandom out there that had a lot of these questions. And so it's a love letter," de Pablo told _Yahoo Canada_ in Toronto.

"When [The Police] got back together in 2007, I was right there, front row center in Vancouver. ... So as a fan, I totally understand this fascination with the group getting back together, and that's kind of the way this is, except we recorded a new album," Weatherly added.
