HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - They say there’s nothing like coming home.

Huntsville Havoc winger Josh Kestner would agree. The Huntsville native grew up attending Channel Cats and Havoc games at Propst Arena and then went on to play there as a member of UAH’s hockey team.

After his final season as a Charger in 2018, Kestner went pro. First, he spent time in the AHL and ECHL, winning MVP honors with the Toledo Walleye during the 2019-20 season.

After that, Kestner went overseas, playing in Finland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

But after many years away from home, Kestner decided that he wanted to come back to the United States and finish his career where it all began.
