ASHBURN, Va. — Jayden Daniels will not play Monday night in Kansas City. It’ll be Marcus Mariota making his third start of the season. Daniels is still recovering from a hamstring injury. This is gut check time for the 2025 Commanders.

“The frustration and anger and all those things can turn into the good once you allow all that to work for you in a good way," said head coach Dan Quinn. "Otherwise, you can feel tight, and when you’re tight, you just don’t play as fast and as aggressive as you need to, and I wanted to eliminate that tight.”
