SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that new evidence has surfaced on Level 1 sex offender Ryan Pontello, who was arrested and charged in June with the alleged rape of a 5-year-old girl, who he lured off a playground in North Syracuse.

Deputies said Pontello also committed sex crimes on two victims, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old, in June of 2022. Investigators found the evidence when they were looking into the digital history on Pontello's phone.

They also said he tried to get nude photos of two girls, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old.

So far don't know if the young girls are the same two victims he committed sex crimes on.

Pontello has a history of raping children and has admitted to being "aroused by young girls."
