Michael B. Jordan is reportedly in early talks to star in the upcoming Miami Vice reboot project!
Earlier this year, it was revealed that a movie based on the fan-favorite NBC crime drama, which ran from 1984-1990, was in the works at Universal Pictures with F1 and Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski directing the project.
Now on Thursday (October 23), Deadline reported that Michael , 38, is “interested” in starring in the movie.
Sources say that the Sinners actor is in the very early stages of possibly playing Detective Ricardo Tubbs in the movie. Philip Michael Thomas played Tubbs in the Miami Vice TV series.
No official deals have been given out yet, but the sources say Michael is reportedly is “engaging and interested” in starring in the movie.
