FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Fountain Inn Police Department reports a victim was injured in a shooting in a Food Lion parking lot on Wednesday.

Officers said they responded to North Main Street, but all parties involved had left the scene.

A gunshot victim later arrived at the Fountain Inn Fire Department and was treated by personnel and taken by EMS to the emergency room. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, according to police.

Officers said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and there is not a continuing threat to the community.

Police report the investigation is in its early stages.
