The family of a South Jersey man who was killed in a hit-and-run crash over the weekend is hoping people in the community can help them piece together what happened.

The crash happened on Saturday, Oct. 18 just before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Andrews Road and Lehigh Manor Drive in Winslow Township, New Jersey, police reported.

When officers got to the scene, they found a man lying in the road but the car that hit him was no where to be found, police said.

Investigators said that they think the man, identified as 36-year-old Jon Kitzmiller, was walking along the road when he was hit by a car and fell to the ground.

Kitzmiller was treated at the scene and taken to a nearb
