ST. PAUL, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — The girl who was critically hurt after being shot in the head during the mass shooting at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis is released from the hospital.

It’s been nearly two months since a shooter shot at the church during morning mass, killing two students and injuring many others.

Doctors say Forchas has made a miraculous recovery.

She has been recovering at Gillette’s Children’s Hospital in St. Paul. After being picked up in a white limo, she was taken to crowd of supporters who lined the sidewalk outside Hennepin County Medical Center where she first received medical care.

Forchas made another stop: Annunciation where she was greeted by classmates.

She turns 13 this weekend.
