Just over a year after construction began on the project, 11 affordable housing units are ready to start changing lives in Longmont.

Wesley Townhomes at 1170 Emery St. is a new development operated by local nonprofit The Inn Between of Longmont. The townhouses were built on land donated by Heart of Longmont United Methodist Church. Construction started in September of last year and finished ahead of the originally planned December 2025 completion date.

Tim Rakow, executive director of The Inn Between, attributed the expedited time frame to the hard work of general contractor KCI.

“They’re super efficient,” Rakow said of KCI. “The longer you go, the more expensive it gets. So, in the end, that was best for us, too.”
