The UCP will take a legislative sledgehammer to the teacher strike on Monday, unless some miracle brings a settlement beforehand.
Bill 2, the Back to School Act, will whistle through the house at light speed.
The government majority intends to force voting on all three readings in one day, with debate on each stage limited to an hour.
The bill will also face a single hour of scrutiny in committee of the whole, the sober-thought stage between second and third readings.

They could have it all done, with Royal Assent and proclamation, by Monday evening.
