VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) - A house and two cars were damaged by a large fire in Vancouver after multiple reports of explosions in the area.
Firefighters responded to a house fire near NE 53rd Avenue and NE 101st Street just after 8 a.m. on Thursday.
Several callers reported sounds of explosions followed by large amounts of black smoke and flames, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.
Fire crews battled heavy flames at the two-story home that engulfed the garage and the rooms above it. Two cars parked in the driveway were also burned.
No injuries were reported and two people have been displaced as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
