EVANS, Ga. (WJBF) - Two students at Lakeside High School are facing criminal charges, according to a letter sent to parents on Thursday.
In the Oct. 23, 2025, letter from Principal Julie King, it states that a student was struck by two other students leaving a restroom stall that morning.
According to the school, the two students are being held accountable to the school's code of conduct and will face criminal charges.
"Safety of students and staff is a top priority, and we take incidents such as these extremely seriously and will investigate fully," the letter reads in part. "Please rest assured that inappropriate physical contact of any nature is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."
