PHOENIX — A SAFE Alert was issued Thursday afternoon for a missing 81-year-old man last seen in Phoenix, authorities said.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Douglas Luther Branson was last seen on Thursday walking in the area of 31st Street and Indian School Road around 8 a.m.

DPS said that Branson was wearing a dark blue shirt and blue jeans.

Branson is described as a 160 pound Black male who is approximately five feet, eight inches tall. He is bald with brown eyes and mostly gray facial hair.

According to DPS, Branson has a medical condition that can cause him to become easily lost or confused.
