FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - In Downtown Fresno, crowds of dozens of local card room leaders and employees gathered to protest proposed card room regulations by California Attorney General Rob Bonta.

They set up in front of Bonta's Fresno office, across from Fresno City Hall, to chant, hold signs, and call for a state turnaround on proposed regulations that would ban blackjack-style games at registered cardrooms throughout California. It would also limit other games that involve a dealer and a player.

"If these regulations go through, we're effectively out of business," Kyle Kirkland, president of Fresno's Club One Casino and the California Gaming Association, said.
