Olle Lycksell scored the go-ahead goal early in the second period against his former team, fueling the host Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.

Like Lycksell, Michael Amadio also scored his first goal of the season to help the Senators snap a two-game losing streak. It was just the second win for Ottawa in the last seven games.

Linus Ullmark overcame Tyson Foerster's goal 29 seconds into the game to make 22 saves. Ullmark highlighted his night by denying Matvei Michkov on a point-blank chance late in the first period after Michkov exited the penalty box.

Former Flyers captain Claude Giroux notched his team-high-tying fourth assist of the season for Ottawa.
