Barcelona loan star confirms he wants permanent move after strong start
has confirmed that he wants to remain at Barcelona beyond his season-long loan from Manchester United.
In an exclusive interview with ESPN, Rashford admitted he “needed a change” after spending almost the entirety of his career at Old Trafford.
Barcelona retain the option to make the 27-year-old’s loan permanent for £26.2m at the end of the season.
The England international has had an electric start to the season under Hansi Flick, registering five goals and six assists across 12 appearances in all competitions.
While Rashford’s contract at United runs until 2028, he seems clear about his intentions to continue his career in Spain.
