CHANDLER, Ariz. — It’s not every day a former U.S. Senator shows up to speak at a city planning and zoning meeting, but that’s where Kyrsten Sinema appeared last week in Chandler.

The Democrat-turned-Independent known for negotiating across party lines in Congress and the U.S. Senate is now working on behalf of AI and data center companies. Sinema urged city leaders to approve an artificial intelligence data center and tech park, called the Price Road Innovation Campus.
