Southern Lehigh ’s Carter Giberson didn’t have much football experience before entering high school. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound senior tackle who has six Division I FCS offers was all about baseball in his younger days.

“I played one year of youth football. I was always bigger than everybody, so I played up with the older guys. My body just wasn’t mature enough for that. So, my mom pulled me out. I played baseball all my younger years,” Giberson said. “Then, freshman year, my mom finally let me play football and it’s been great. My mom was always afraid. I played baseball with no real contact. But coming out here, building a family this big. It’s just been amazing. It’s been great for my life.”
