At the 4:12 mark in the 2nd quarter against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Minnesota Vikings were on a 4th & 2 down when their QB, Carson Wentz, threw the ball and suddenly started walking towards his camp, holding his left arm in pain. Wentz already wore a brace that looked bigger than he usually wore.
3 medical trainers rushed towards the signal caller and inquired about a potential injury. Alec Lewis, Minnesota beat writer for The Athletic, reported about Wentz walking off the field with obvious pain in his wrist.
“Carson Wentz walking off the field holding his wrist,” Lewis reported.
