SCHENECTADY, NY (NEWS10) -- The Union Football team is on a roll in Year 2 of the Jon Drach era. After dropping their first two non-conference games of the season, the Garnet Chargers have gone on a 4-game winning streak which includes their first 3 games in Liberty League play.
This upcoming Saturday is a big one for Union, a visit to Ithaca and a matchup with the Bombers who are currently in first place at 4-0 in league play. Both Union and RPI are just a half game back at 3-0 in the Liberty League.
The Garnet Chargers have outscored their opponents by over 20 points per game in their league matchups. Their last time out was a 33-16 win over the defending league champs, Hobart.
Now coming off a bye week the challenge takes another step up as the Garnet Chargers prepare for their trip
