WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — A 28-year-old man has died after a shooting during a youth football game at a north Wichita park on Thursday evening.

The Wichita Police Department says an off-duty detective was at Grove Park attending a youth football game around 7 p.m. when he heard gunshots. The detective responded and found a man with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
