Officials from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, City of New York, State of New York, and Sail4th 250

revealed plans earlier this year for the largest international maritime gathering in modern American history.

The historic event will take place from July 3-8, 2026 , in the Port of New York and New Jersey to

mark America’s 250th birthday.

Some 30 Class A and 30 Class B international tall ships, 40 gray-hull vessels, a British aircraft carrier, Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, and an International Naval Review 250 are expected to highlight the national celebration.

According to an economic impact analysis conducted by the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the Sail4th 250 event is projected to generate $2.85
