Kolkata, Oct 24: A festive evening turned tragic in Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, when a 30-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his neighbour following a heated argument over playing music at a Kali Puja pandal, police said on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Santan Naskar, a resident of the locality. According to police sources, the incident occurred when Naskar switched off the loud music system at the pandal after an elderly neighbour, who is reportedly suffering from a heart condition, requested him to lower the volume.
