WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following another round of aggressive media questions about his reasoning behind implementing sweeping tariffs on foreign goods, President Donald Trump allegedly leaned over and inquired to Vice President JD Vance if it was too late to find out what a tariff was.
"Hey, is it too late to ask what a tariff is?" Trump reportedly whispered to Vance. "Everybody seems really mad about them, whatever they are."
In response, Vance reportedly shrugged back at the president.
According to sources, Trump's chief economic advisor, Stephen Miran, was stunned by the president's question and promptly pulled him aside.
