COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -A man accused of attempting to hit ICE officials with his vehicle is still on the run, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) .
The incident occurred in July and spread across two different scenes in the Colorado Springs area.
There was a shelter in place along Burgess Road in Black Forest for law enforcement activity. A second scene, connected to the investigation on Burgess Road, also started about three miles southwest.
According to ICE, two people living in the country illegally attempted to hit officers with their vehicle during the operation.
ICE said one of the agency’s officers then fired three shots into the vehicle, and the suspects fled and later abandoned the car.
