PITTSBURGH —
A man is under arrest for arson after a home was badly damaged by a fire in Pittsburgh's Windgap neighborhood Thursday night.

Pittsburgh police said three residents managed to escape and have been accounted for.
Police say they have arrested Timothy Hamilton, 45, of Kennedy Township with arson, as well as and multiple other charges including causing or risking catastrophe.
According to a criminal complaint, Hamilton was on the front porch at the home prior to the fire, kicking the front door.
Hamilton was allegedly trying to get a woman who was inside to come home with him, but she refused.
The woman told authorities Hamilton had been abusive to her throughout the
