COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nicholas Wright was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison after being found guilty of murdering 39-year-old Dante Gamble outside an east Columbus nightclub in February 2024.

Gamble’s family said they’ve waited more than a year and a half for his shooter to be brought to justice.

Wright , 31, received additional time for firearm and repeat violent offender specifications. According to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, he may be eligible for parole after 26 years.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to Luxxe Lounge, an after-hours club, in the early morning hours of February 11, 2024, on a report of a shooting.
