LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Chef Emily Del Greco Campion has cooked for countless guests in Cleveland restaurants. Soon, she’ll taking her skills to folks in war-torn Ukraine.
Campion, chef at Birdietown restaurant in Lakewood, is preparing to travel to Stryi, Ukraine, Nov. 3-10 as part of a humanitarian culinary mission. She’s joining James Beard Award winner Chef Brandon Chrostowski of Edwins Leadership and Restaurant in Cleveland Heights on a trip to help rebuild and support a children’s hospital that’s become a symbol of hope amid the chaos of war.
