The Chatham-Kent Arts Council inducted eight new members to its cultural hall of fame on Thursday night.
Held at the Chatham Cultural Centre, the event featured a reception in Studio One, followed by the inductions in the Kiwanis Theatre. There were also special musical performances during the ceremony.
The class of 2025 includes:
Visual arts: Troy Brooks (Wallaceburg)
Performing arts: Tracey Hoyt (Chatham)
Cultural builder: Sam Panopoulos (Chatham)
Dance: Patrick Kastoff (Chatham)
Literary arts: Bryan Prince (North Buxton)
Music: Stephanie Copeland (Wallaceburg)
Legacy inductees: Shelton Brooks (North Buxton); Ken Crone (Chatham)
The arts council also recognized Tara J. Wilson and Ryan Tetrault with the emerging youth artist scholarship.
