CINCINNATI, Ohio — In just their second game together, Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco and receiver Ja’Marr Chase looked like they had been connecting for years.

Chase caught a Bengals record 16 passes from Flacco in their 33-31 win vs. the Steelers in Week 7. That game occurred just nine days after Flacco arrived in Cincinnati following a trade from Cleveland.

During Thursday’s press conference, Chase noted how quickly the chemistry between him and Flacco has developed.

“Honestly, it’s starting to feel like he’s been here,” Chase admitted to reporters. “It still feels comfortable in a huddle with him, hearing the plays. Feels like he’s been here before.”
