EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Coen Carr led the way for the Michigan State men's basketball team on Thursday night, and he did so on both offense and defense.
Carr had a team-high 17 points and five blocked shots in MSU's 75-66 exhibition win over Bowling Green.
Fellow captains Jaxon Kohler (15 points) and Jeremy Fears Jr. (12 points) also scored in double figures. Kohler added ten rebounds and Fears recorded nine assists.
Kur Teng got the start for the Spartans after not playing much as a freshman last season and finished with seven points in 22 minutes.
The Spartans will play their final exhibition on Tuesday at UConn, before the season-opener against Colgate on Nov. 3.
