Dehradun : The Uttarakhand government has launched a special scheme to help young people prepare for Army recruitment. Under this plan, free pre-recruitment training will be given to youth who want to become Agniveers. The training will be available in all 13 districts of the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the Sports and Youth Welfare Department to start this program. A detailed training plan, called the Special Operations Procedure (SOP), has been prepared. Expert instructors will guide the youth and help them get ready for the Agniveer selection process.

Training is meant for permanent residents of Uttarakhand
