ATLANTA — Nearly a month after 27-year-old Josephine Tarwai was found dead in her Atlanta apartment, her family is still searching for answers. They believe her death was suspicious and are frustrated with what they describe as a lack of urgency from investigators.
Tarwai was found dead on Sept. 30 in her Atlanta apartment, far from her family's home in Minnesota. Her brother, who flew across the country to seek answers, said the family’s concerns are being ignored.
“We're broken, we're crushed,” her brother, Joseph, said in an exclusive interview with 11Alive's Angelina Salcedo. “The wake and funeral are this weekend, and my mom just passed out maybe 30 minutes ago. It’s all just too much.”
